919 PINE ST
This Craftsman style house was built in 1945 by Les Edger, a carpenter, who also built many other houses in the city. Edger was also the local Cooperative Commonwealth Federation secretary and billeted Tommy Douglas, the leader of the party, when he stayed in Kamloops. Most of the house is original with v board soffits, wood rafter fascia, cedar shingle and clapboard siding. The front porch has been altered by the addition of a verandah.
