ARTHUR HATTON HOUSE

96 CLARKE ST.jpg This Arts and Crafts style house was built in 1921 for local water engineer and long-time North Kamloops Commissioner, Arthur Hatton. The house sits at the far southern end of the property which once stretched from Clarke Street to Nicola Street West. Arthur Hatton was instrumental in incorporating North Kamloops as a village in 1946. He was also one of the first people to own a cottage on Paul Lake.
